Château en Suède

In 1963 director Roger Vadim was going to do for Françoise Hardy what he had done for Brigitte Bardot several years before - make her an international superstar. The vehicle to do so would be the film Château en Suède. The film also featured Monica Vitti, Curd Jürgens, and Jean-Louis Trintignant. In the US the title was Nutty, Naughty Chateau and a cursory search for the film on video has proved unfruitful. Not much can be said for a film that isn't around anymore, or maybe that says it all.

what's new, pussycat?

What's New Pussycat? is the first film featuring Woody Allen. He also wrote the screenplay. You have to sit through the entire film waiting for the appearance of Françoise. She appears at the very end as a final carnal temptation to the just married Peter O' Toole. Peter Sellers has a few lines with her as well.

Masculin
Feminin

Careful you might miss her in this Goddard flick about a socialist journalist, Jean-Pierre Léaud, and his girlfriend who is a yé-yé girl played by real life yé-yé cutie Chantal Goya. An extra added bonus is Bridgitte Bardot's cameo. This movie rocks with its French go-go girl soundtrack available on the Chantal Goya CD.
